Inc. Business Owners Council is Inc. magazine's membership organization for top entrepreneurs and family business owners. The Council brings thought leaders together with Council Members to explore best practices and develop insight that help Members make smarter business decisions.

Inaugural Launch: Inc. Business Owners Council launches its first chapter in Greater New York, serving top entrepreneurs in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. [See press release]. The Greater New York chapter delivers a world-class, year-round program of events and initiatives to entrepreneurs who qualify for membership:

  • Council Members are invited to exclusive presentations and introduced to experts in business ownership decision-making and wealth-creation strategies.
  • Council Member collaborations are facilitated and incubated.
  • The Council allows members to meet and share knowledge with other leading entrepreneurs and family business owners in a confidential setting.

To be eligible for Council Membership, an applicant must own at least ten percent (10%) of a private business with annual gross revenues of at least $2 million in the most recent completed fiscal year.
