All the King's Men

My favorite quote is when politician Willie Stark (Sean Penn) asked Jack Burden, his assistant (Jude Law)

Willie: "Why do you want to work for me? Because of money?"

Jack: "No, you know if it is about money, I have better choices"

Willie: "So why?"

Jack: "I don't know."

Willie: "But I know."

Jack: "Why?"

Willie: "You work for me because I am the way I am, and you are the way you are."

To me, this is a powerful saying about the human relationship and about life. Why people involve in a relationship? Why people do certain things? Because they are the way they are.

So I know, I am doing what I am doing because I am the way I am.

And I know, we have to accept and respect people the way they are.

And if a thing turns out that way it is because that is the way it is :-)
